Career
I’ve spent over 15 years in managerial roles at global companies like LUISAVIAROMA, Benetton, and R/GA, focusing on leveraging technology to drive business growth and enhance customer experiences.
My career began in the music industry at Sugar Music, a leading Italian record company. There, I developed cutting-edge digital promotional strategies for major players like Sony-BMG Music, Warner Music Group, and Universal Music, working with artists such as Avril Lavigne, Negramaro, Blue, and Maroon 5. For someone passionate about music, it was a dream job and a formative experience.
In the Martech section, I’ll share insights and lessons learned, providing inspiration for anyone looking to harness technology to drive impactful change in their businesses or communities.
Music
Music has always been a constant in my life. I’ve loved discovering new music and sharing it with others—first through cassettes, then CDs, and now Spotify playlists. One day, I’d love to find the time to learn guitar.
The most significant part of my musical journey is my private collection of music photography. This collection, inspired by my desire to spark curiosity in my children, features rare and iconic pieces, with a particular focus on the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and vinyl covers designed by Banksy. Today, I share these works with galleries and exhibitions, offering others a chance to experience the stories they tell.
Volunteering
I’m also deeply committed to driving social impact in my community through culture and technology. Together with a group of friends aged 20 to 80, I serve as the president of Catomes Tot – a renowned cultural and community hub in Reggio Emilia that we consider a welcoming home for art, culture, and connection.
I believe that technology plays a crucial role in creating opportunities for everyone, fostering progress that is fair and inclusive. To advance these values and opportunities, I have also been actively involved in politics. Years ago, I served as a councilor in my hometown of Campagnola Emilia, and more recently, I ran for councilor in Reggio Emilia to further advocate for these principles.
During the pandemic, I collaborated with friends to launch “Vicinoesicuro,” a platform that helped local businesses offer home delivery services. This initiative, which expanded to several countries, demonstrated how digital tools can drive participatory and inclusive progress.
